Damaraland Wilderness

A Deep-Dive Into Namibia’s Wild Heart

Venture into one of the last truly untouched regions on Earth — a land defined by ancient rivers, desert elephants, volcanic history, and stark, cinematic beauty. This E-Bike expedition takes you far off the grid, across forbidden landscapes where few people ever travel, following the trails of the Bushmen, rhinos, elephants, and the pioneers who shaped this wilderness.

This is more than a tour

It’s raw nature, deep silence, and the privilege of accessing conservation land normally closed to the public. Every day reveals a different Namibia — from towering granite massifs to dry rivers bursting with life, to the icy Atlantic.

Tour Highlights

  • E-bike the ancient Erongo and Damaraland landscapes, following Bushman trails and rock art.
  • Explore the iconic Brandberg region — home to Namibia’s highest peak.
  • Overnight at an original Save the Rhino Trust research camp deep in the Ugab River.
  • Ride the legendary Road of No Shade into the Skeleton Coast border region.
  • Cycle along the lifeline rivers of Huab and Ugab — home to desert elephants, rhino, lion, hyena, and more.
  • Water crossing at the famous Peter’s Pool.
  • Sleep under ancient acacia giants or beneath the rocky overhangs of the desert.
  • Experience the otherworldly Ugab Folds and black basalt ridges.
  • Visit a remote abandoned Tin/Zinc mining town.
  • Reach the Atlantic Ocean at historic Cape Cross.
  • Pass the iconic Spitzkoppe, the “Matterhorn of Namibia”, en route back to Windhoek.

The Experience

Experience Namibia like few ever will — on two wheels, deep in the wild. E-biking through Damaraland is raw, immersive, and beautifully challenging. You feel every shift in terrain: the crunch of desert gravel, the cool shade of ancient riverbeds, the sudden silence of open plains. Riding puts you at eye level with Namibia’s wildlife, its vast horizons, and its living desert. It’s freedom, flow, and pure presence — the kind of journey where the landscape moves through you as much as you move through it. This isn’t just cycling; it’s connection, adventure, and a reminder of how extraordinary the world becomes when you experience it at human speed.
